Advanced Skin Retouching
I’ve been racking my brain over skin retouching. If you gaussian blur too much it makes the skin look “putty” like and splotchy and sometimes it causes banding because it gets to smooth. It’s also extremely obvious and cartoon like. I found a technique that keeps some of the porous texture of the skin allowing you to smooth out the tones created from rough and uneven skin. I’m pretty excited about it.
